African Distinguished Speaker Series: Professor Ngugi wa Thiong'o

Screen Shot 2014-03-04 at 10.59.30 AMThe International Education Committee and the Africa Subcommittee will be presenting University of California, Irvine’s Professor Ngugi wa Thiong’o as part of its African Distinguished Speaker Series on March 12. Professor Ngugi wa Thiong’o is a renowned prolific novelist, social activist and theorist of post-colonial literature, and Distinguished Professor of the Departments of Comparative Literature and English at the University of California, Irvine.

This event will be held in the Karl Anatol Center from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m and is co-sponsored by the Department of Africana Studies, the African Folktale Series, and the Center for Continuing and Professional Education.
