Summer of Innovation – NASA Dryden Trip

We took 50 middle school students to NASA Dryden on Friday, August 27, 2010, as part of the Summer of Innovation culminating event.  Two of our middle school students were selected to communicate with F-18 pilots while in they were in the air as part of “mission control.”  This event consisted of semi-finalists and finalists from the Engineering Girls Internship for 8th grade girls and the semi-finalists and finalists from the NASA learning experiences-KSC program!
