Introduction and Benefits

Why is it important to incorporate global student learning outcomes into curricular experiences of college graduates today? Establishing global learning outcomes helps faculty, staff and students determine their readiness for the global marketplace.  By providing clear learning outcomes, students know what to expect, and faculty and staff can examine what is working and what could be improved. Assessment data can be used for myriad purposes including, but not limited to: Program Reviews, Accreditation, Self-Study, Faculty Reviews, Onboarding of new faculty and staff, Reporting, and more.
