On March 25, the Department of Chicano Latino Studies, Dr. Enrique Ellis-Rios from USC, and CSULB’s Dr. Victor Rodriguez will be sponsoring a Caribbean Music Workshop. As part of the activities, a number of musicians will discuss and perform the Rumba, Guaguanco, Merengue, Bomba, Plena, Cumbia, and other rhythms.
This event will be held in MM-200 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
