Dale Tatum – Dale.Tatum@csulb.edu

Academic specialties/ Area of interest:

My research has been wide ranging.  I have focused on the role of race and culture on an international as well as domestic level.  For instance, I wrote a book on the Cold War and it focused on how the United States and the Soviet Union attempted to influence Third World countries.  My last book on genocide in Rwanda, Bosnia, Kosovo, and Dafur and the lack of response by western countries.  The book that I am currently writing deals with the civil rights set-backs (legal blows) dealt the African American community by the Rehnquist and Roberts Courts and what needs to be done to overcome them.
