Teaching Philosophy

All of my classes—from Comic Spirit to Medieval World, Fairy Tales to Literature and Medicine—focus on exciting stories and elegant essay writing. By the end of the semester, I want my students to have read deeply and widely, learned about the topic, developed their writing skills, and acquired skills useful for both their future classes and their future jobs. Also, there will be cats.
