Genre – International and Interdisciplinary Journal of Literature & the Arts
This annual scholarly journal is published by students in the Department of Comparative World Literature & Classics at California State University, Long Beach.
Genre is dedicated to publishing creative and scholarly work in the Humanities as well as essays related to the annual Comparative Literature conference. Reviews of current works of literary criticism, literature and local Southern California art exhibitions are also featured.

Volume 35: Connections and Intersections
The Editorial Board is primarily made up of students enrolled in CWL 495: Genre. The main purpose of this course is to offer students the opportunity to develop critical editing skills and glean the editorial process experience.

We are happy to donate copies to University Libraries and Comparative Literature Departments. Please send a SASE with your request to the Genre Editor.
