Welcome to the Comparative Literature Club!

Our statement of purpose:

  • To promote literature of various cultures, historical periods, and backgrounds.
  • To promote ethical leadership and academic achievement, and to cultivate civic responsibility.
  • To provide the students opportunities for association and interaction with the faculty and administration of CSULB and with the members of the community.

  • Create new friendships with students with different majors, personal experiences, and worldviews.
  • Participate in fun, literature-related activities such as writing letters, coloring bookmarks, and watching videos.
  • Engage in group reading discussions of diverse texts, from horror short stories to contemporary graphic novels.
