The WRL can now accommodate small groups of students in addition to one-on-one appointments. We will limit group appointments to four students per group. All the students in the group must be working on the same assignment—but it does not necessarily need to be a group assignment.
Please keep in mind that small-group sessions will be less detailed than one-on-one sessions. The tutor will not be able to look at all of your papers closely, but will instead lead a workshop-style session on big-picture issues.
One example of a good reason to schedule a group appointment: You and a few of your classmates aren’t sure how to get started on an assignment. You have a prompt, but can’t decide what to do next. You could come in as a group to discuss the assignment with a tutor, who will lead a brainstorming session to help your group generate develop ideas.
