Today was a good day!  The day started an hour later than usual as we went out into the field to gather points of plants as I was looking out for native/invasive plants in areas that I hadn’t been to in order to match it up with my NDVI.  After walking for a couple of hours, and only catching ONE native plant on an area that I had predicted there would be some, it was time for lunch at the beach.  I happened to fall asleep at the beach and then it was time to go back home for data processing.  After looking over the GPS points it was time to go canoe-ing!  Man, that was such a great experience!  I probably would’ve never been on a wa’a if it weren’t for this trip.  It was kinda hard getting into rhythm when paddling because once you lost it, it was hard to get back into it.  But it was great.  The night finished with some dinner at a burger place, I ordered fish & chips which weren’t as good as other ones I’ve had but still pretty good.  Good day.  Lates.
