Project Day!

Today was a lab day.  The first thing we did was get together to look at our data so far, but then we switched gears and had to come up with the projects that we are gonna be doing individually.  The project that I’m going to do is an NDVI of our research area which is mostly coastal and then I’ll put in GPS points of both native/invasive plants that we have observed in the field.  My hypothesis is that native plants will be in areas with less dense vegetation or more “fringe” areas in which  they are almost pushed out by invasive plants.  I started the classification of my NDVI and put in a couple of GPS points so far, it looked promising, but we shall see how it comes out.
