Today I went in the field with Jake to take more spectral signature of native and invasive plants around the gird. We continued inside the grid sampling native species. After around 4 samples, I wanted to take a couple spectral signatures of invasive plants. We sampled Halle Koa, which is the dominate alien species on the island. We also got a spectral reading of the dirt road, this is easy to pick out from aerial photography, it will serve as a good sample point.

After a half day in the field we went to the lab to analyze some of our data we collected from the past 2 days. We have a presentation tomorrow about team and individual projects. I started my object based analysis in ecognition, I have never used this program so the learning curve was high, but I got the hang of it after playing around.
