17th Annual Solanki Lecture: Rukmini Banerji on the “Challenges of Education in India,” April 17th
Please join us for the 17th annual Solanki Lecture on April 17th. The lecture will take place at the Pointe at the Walter Pyramid on the campus of California State University, Long Beach. A dinner and a reception will take place at 6:00PM, the lecture will begin at 7:00PM.

Rukmini Banerji is Chief Executive Officer of the Pratham Education Foundation. She completed a BA at St Stephen’s College and attended Delhi School of Economics. She was a Rhodes Scholar and earned her Ph. D at the University of Chicago. Dr. Banerji has been with Pratham since 1996 and for many years led Pratham’s research and assessment efforts including the Annual Status of Education Report. Dr. Banerji has extensive experience working directly with rural and urban communities as well as in designing and implementing large scale partnerships with governments.
