2009 Solanki Lecture
In Sping 2009 the Yadunandan Center for India Studies hosted the Annual Solanki Lecture with our honored guest, renowned journalist and travel writer Pico Iyer, who spoke on his recent publication entitled The Open Road: The Global Journey of the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, as well as presenting some of his own ideas concerning this year’s lecture topic on “Our Global Century and Its New Possibilities.” The event was held in the Karl Anotol Centre on the CSULB campus on April 16th, 2009 from 6pm – 9pm. The Yadunandan Center is truly grateful for Mr. Iyer’s willingness to present his work and speak on behalf of the Annual Solanki Lecture.
