2018 Solanki Lecture: Bending Like Bandung: India, China and the Reshaping of Asian & International Order, March 20th

Please join us for the 16th Annual Solanki Lecture: Bending like Bandung: India, China and the Reshaping of Asian & International Order.

The Lecture will be delivered by Amitav Acharya, Distinguished Professor of International Relations and the UNESCO Chair in Transnational Challenges and Governance at the School of International Service at American University. He is also the inaugural holder (2016-18) of the Boeing Company Chair in International Relations at Tsinghua University in Beijing. In 2014, he became the first non-Western scholar to be elected as the President of the International Studies Association. Professor Acharya is the author of 30 books and edited volumes, and over 200 articles. His most recent books include Constructing Global Order (Cambridge, 2018); East of India, South of China (Oxford, 2017); and The End of American World Order (Polity, 2014, 2018).

The lecture will be given on March 20th at the Pointe at the Walter Pyramid, CSULB.
The reception and the dinner begin at 6:00PM and the lecture begins at 7:00PM.
