17th Annual Solanki Lecture: Rukmini Banerji on the “Challenges of Education in India,” 4/17

Please join us for the 17th annual Solanki Lecture on April 17th. Dr. Rukmini Banerji, the CEO of the Pratham Education Foundation will be giving be a lecture titled “Challenges of Education in India.” The event will take place the The Pointe at the Walter Pyramid, on the campus of California State University, Long beach Reception/Dinner at 6:00 pm Lecture begins at 7:00 pm RSVP and Inquiries to: indiastudies@csulb.edu Parking details, maps, etc. will be provided to those who RSVP Rukmini Banerji is Chief Executive Officer of the Pratham Education Foundation. She completed a BA at St Stephen’s College and attended Delhi School of Economics. She was a Rhodes Scholar and earned her Ph. D at the University of Chicago. Dr. Banerji has been with Pratham since 1996 and for many years led Pratham’s research and assessment efforts including the Annual Status of Education Report. Dr. Banerji has extensive experience working directly with rural and urban communities as well as in designing and implementing large scale partnerships with governments.
