CSULB Model United Nations Upcoming Conference

This Saturday, March 1st, the CSULB Model United Nations Program is hosting the Long Beach Intercollegiate Model United Nations Conference.  For those of you unfamiliar with MUN, it is a comprehensive academic and hands on simulation of the real world United Nations where students act as diplomats from a given country.

This years installation of LBIMUN we have seen an increase in interest and participation, as approximately 130 delegates will be competing in the day long conference. The conference will be held in the CBA building. Registration/check-in will begin at 8 and the confrence will begin at 9 o’clock sharp.  The closing ceremony will begin at 5:45 where we have a special guest speaker, Mr. William Martin current Diplomat in Resdience at UCLA and former U.S. Consulate General, Karachi, Pakistan, speaking about his experiences in diplomacy.
