Moot Court Team Wins Championship at Windy City Regional

CSULB’s Anna Sasaki and Jonah Zeko were the champions of the 2018 Windy City Regional.  The tournament was held at Loyola University Chicago’s School of Law.  To win, they beat back-to- back teams from the University of Chicago.  Sasaki and Zeko have qualified for the national championship to be held in Orlando, FL in January of 2019.  This is Sasaki’s second regional triumph and the ninth competition title of her career.  In the final round, she earned 1996 out of a possible 2000 points for an average ballot from five judges of 399.25 out of a possible 400 points. 

Zeko, Sasaki, Jireh Deng, and Evelyn Ortiz were the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 8th best orators.
