Moot Court Teams Win CSULB CA Classic and Place in Top 3 in Boston

The CA Classic tournament took place at CSULB on September 28, 2019.

CSULB won the 2019 CSULB Fall Classic.  This was CSULB’s first competition of the season and the first in the careers of 70% of its competitors.  CSULB did well against much more experienced teams from the College of Wooster (Ohio) and St. Thomas University (Canada).

Vaishalee Chaudhary and Marco Romero finished in first place.  Aleece Hanson and Barry Klein finished in fourth place.  The final round panel of judges featured a federal judge (John Tobin), a state trial judge (Tom Ong) and three former CSULB alums who are now attorneys (Taylor Carr, Aaron Sibley and Sabrina vander Linden Gonzalez).
