The decision to pursue a legal career is a life-changer.  There are so many things to consider. Sign Up For a Pre-Law Preparation Course.  The best way to intensive and comprehensive help with law school and legal career decisions is to register for a 3-unit, credit/no credit course called “Pre-Law Preparation,” offered by the College of Liberal Arts.  This highly recommended course will walk you through every step of the process, and will even enable you to receive one-on-one advising specific to your situation.  Check the schedule of classes for the next offering.

Preliminary Steps. If you are still considering whether this is the right career move for you, this section will give you information about the legal profession, the realities of law school, and how to make yourself a good candidate for law school.

Applying to Law School. If you are getting ready to apply, or already in the process of applying, this section will help you research law schools, write a good personal statement and resume, get good letters of recommendation, and prepare for and take the LSAT.
