Expressions of Unification Through Planning, Architecture, and Sculpture

On Thursday, October 15 at 6:30pm the German Club together with the UAM conference “Far-Sited” will present a lecture in recognition of 25 Years of German Unity and the 50th anniversary of the International Sculpture Symposium in the UAM Easy Gallery. CSULB Professor of Geography Tom Frazier will present a lecture titled: “Capital City Berlin’s New Federal Chancellery: Expressions of Unification Through Planning, Architecture, and Sculpture.” His current scholarly work draws from his previous studies of “the Urban and Political Geography of the Berlin Wall,” and “Borders and Boundaries, German Unification, and Berlin as United Germany’s Federal Capital.” Please join us at 6:30 for the reception.
