Dr. Jake Alimahomed-Wilson’s Research on Racialization, Logistics, & Global Capitalism Published

Dr. Jake Alimahomed-Wilson recently published his research on the role of the racialization of labor in the global logistics industry for a special issue for Work Organisation, Labour, and Globalisation. This special issue brings together scholars from around the world in order to critically assess global capitalism and logistics. Dr. Wilson’s paper, Unfree Shipping: The Racialisation of Logistics Labour analyzes the numerous ways racialization shapes labor and working conditions in the global logistics industry with a special focus on the Los Angeles region’s warehousing and port trucking sectors.
