I Have a Dream Foundation—Los Angeles (IHADLA) currently has internship opportunities at their Executive Main Office in Los Angeles and at three of their program sites: (1) in Watts working with 7th graders, (2) in Inglewood working with 10thand 11th graders, and (3) in Boyle Heights working with 4rd graders. Read more about I Have a Dream—Los Angeles at IHADLA.org. Students interested in an internship with IHADLA should complete an Internship Application and submit it to Wilma Franco, the Director of Programs and Operations at IHADLA. Applications should be submitted via email to wilma@ihadla.org. Any questions regarding this internship should be emailed to CLA-Internships@csulb.edu.

Century Villages at Cabrillo (CVC) is a residential community established to break the cycle of homelessness. More than simply providing shelter, CVC has co-located a range of valuable social services to help residents regain their independence. CVC currently has internship opportunities working with the Community Development team whose role it is to develop a strong sense of community among residents, strengthen the on-site collaborations with agencies, and deliver essential supportive services to residents. Students interested in an internship with CVC should complete an Internship Application form and submit it to Jaylene Westfall, the Resident Services Supervisor at CVC. Applications should be submitted via email to oasis@centuryvillages.org. Decisions regarding applications will be done on a rolling basis. Responses may take 7-10 business days.
