Educators from a wide range of backgrounds may be interested in participating, as the workshop addresses a number of different themes–technology; economic development; race, class, and gender identities; popular culture; the role of geography in regional development; and demographic trends. It may especially appeal to high school teachers whose courses address modern United States History or World History. Advanced Placement teachers of US History, World History, and Human Geography may find this workshop useful as well.
