On April 23 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the Women’s Resource Center, Feminist Organizing Reclaiming Consciousness and Equality (FORCE), and ASI’s secretary of Women’s Affairs will host its Take Back the Night event. Take Back the Night was an event started in the 1970s to raise awareness of sexual assault and create a space to discuss sexual assault.
Rally with students, faculty, and staff in a peaceful march that will advocate against sexual assault and for a safer campus. At this event, those directly and indirectly affected by sexual assault will speak out. *
The RALLY will begin at the Maxson Plaza at 6 p.m., and the SPEAKOUT and performance by INTERACT will begin at the Soroptimist House from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
